The Soviet-era skyscraper, the Palace of Culture and Science, is hard to miss, so we chose it as the starting point. It is also conveniently located at the city center, where most of the public transportation routes are crossing. From there, we will head towards the district of Wola, past Europe's tallest residential building at Zlota 44, and Varso Tower - the tallest building in the European Union. Then we will walk through the former industrial area, where skyscrapers are being built next to old factory ruins. Amid this architecturally diverse area, you will see a modern residential building connected to a piece of the Jewish ghetto wall that remained after the Second World War. At the Rondo Daszynskiego, which has the highest density of skyscrapers, we will take the metro train to Vistula Boulevard. This part of the city is less known to tourists but is very popular among Warsaw residents. The area has three exciting locations: the Copernicus Science Centre, the roof garden of the Warsaw University Library, and the Elektrownia Powisle, a shopping center with a food hall for 600 people and a very well-stocked drink bar, which you could check out on your own after we end our tour.
